We are so happy and honored that Au Fil du Banc has been selected (out of competition) at the Brasov Film Festival! It is screening on July 21st at the Dramatic center alongside many other wonderful films! Click on the image above for more info…
Au Fil du Banc is screening today at 12:30 at the Westside JCC in Los Angeles as part of the Losa Angeles Jewish Film Festival!!! So sad I can’t be there… but so excited it’s getting screened in L.A!
I am very excited to announce that Au Fil du Banc has been selected at the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival!
Great news: we have finally finished the film and are currently sending it to various film festivals around the world! I want to thank again my producers Laurent Fumeron and Frédéric Rossignol for believing in this project as well as the crew who stood by me and helped me make a movie I am very proud of. And thanks to my other half, Sylvain who wrote this beautiful story and who inspires me every day… and of course thanks to my family for always being there for me and supporting me 200%!
Check out the films page to see the film! All comments and feedback are welcome 🙂
Before leaving Paris, we worked together with Herve to fine tune the sound mix and music. I truly think the result will be great despite the windy sound! He just sent me a final version, so now the film will move on to color correction this Wednesday and Friday. I can’t wait to see the final film! As we are in NY, we’ll have to wait until December/January to screen the film. I’ll definitely keep everyone posted!
Post production advanced at a very slow pace due to wedding planning, but now that I’m back from the honeymoon, it’s time to finalize things. I’m meeting with our producer, Laurent tomorrow to view the latest version with the mixed sound and music – can’t wait! Color correction will follow once we lock the sound… stay tuned!
It’s been a while since I last posted – so here are the news regarding Au Fil du Banc. I wasn’t in Paris for very long after the shoot, but Amer (our lovely editor) managed to complete a rough cut in a day! We then fine tuned the edit via email and I have to say that the results are great! So now, it’s time for the sound edit/mix before finalizing color correction an the original soundtrack.
Hopefully, I’ll be able to post a link to the finished film by the time I get back from Paris on July 26th!
Shooting day went well despite the changing weather. It was quite cloudy and we even had a little bit of rain, but it all worked out in the end thanks to a wonderful and patient crew & cast!
The first day of shooting started well with more shots of our little bird. Then we hurried over to l’Île St Louis to start with of our first shot:
Here are a couple more pictures:
